CHAPEL
Sculpture / Digital
6IXT33N CHAPEL returns to one of the most charged images in Western art: Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. The figures take the human body as a starting point, passing it through machine aesthetics, pop iconography and digital culture.
They can resemble idols, toys, machines or avatars. Deformed and polished, artificial and almost inhuman, they remain recognisable as bodies. The project exists in ceramic, large-scale sculpture, digital environments and VR — different states of the same sculptural language.
